Friends

 

Friends are always there for you,

Even when you have the flu.

Ginger pie, hot chicken soup,

That’s what friends would make for you!

Play outside, on the bike,

Chalking the ground, what a sight!

Having sleep overs, brushing hair,

Telling stories, what a scare!

But you might have true enemies,

And some false friends…

But you should stretch out your hand,

And make some new friends.

Friends don’t tell on you,

But if they do (just think),

Pull them, yank them, and push them hard,

Make them run one thousand yards.

(But don’t do it for real)

Play nice with your dolls,

Play fashion show, dresses from mom!

Make a card for your friend then… Send!

Play doctor, play school,

Play dunk the fish from the pool.

Go home, sleep tight,

And don't let the bed bugs bite!
