My Life
An autobiography By Roshni Das
On February 29 2008, I was born, a soft skinned, baby. Crying, with my eyes closed right then sleeping in my mom's arms. Wrapped with a white and blue blanket, my parents took me home, to were my grandma and my sister were. Right when I saw my sister, Diya, it was the first time I ever smiled and it was directly at her! It took my parents a long time to come up with a name for me, but they did. First they thought of naming me Maya, then Diksha, and then they came up with ROSHNI! And so we stuck to that name for the rest of my life. My family took so muck care of me, from when I was just born, to 4th grade! And obviously they will love me for as long as we live. We stayed in our old house for 7 fascinating years. It was my first time going to Washington D.C! So I was like 1 or 2 when we went there, I kept on picking up rocks and giving it to my dad, at the same time, he was taking a video of me doing that. And I was adorable! But 7 years past so quickly, and me and my sister were quickly growing out of that house. So we had to move at some point. Then we moved to a different house, and we stayed there for then on 2 years so far. I had a pretty exciting life, like when we got this female dog named Ida, she was so loving and adorable, but then we had these high allergies from her, so we had to give her away, but that was in the old house, when I was like, 4. Now in the new house, when I turned 8 last year, we got a surprise dog! And we were so excited! And I got to name him, I named him Oreo! Because he was black and white. So we kept him, and he was and is the best dog in the world!!! I love him so, so, so much. And I was in second grade back then. He came from Idaho, which is funny, my old dog, Ida should have came from Idaho. But apparently they both have one similarity, they both do not, and I mean it, do not like the crate. I am nine years old, and this is 2017, and I hope to remember these little memories.
